Winston W. Pulliam Chairman

Winston Pulliam is the founding visionary of Pulliam. As a native of Asheville, Winston recognized the enormous potential of the undeveloped land between Biltmore Village and the Henderson County line and, in his mid-30s, began to accrue acreage in the corridor, parcel by parcel. Now, the highway along which Winston bought land is a seemingly endless line of shopping centers, office parks, restaurants, apartments, condominiums, and hotels. And it continues to grow.

Currently the Chairman of Pulliam Properties, Winston is personally committed to Asheville and all of Western North Carolina. He served on the Board of Directors for the North Carolina Environmental Management Commission, the Asheville/Buncombe Water Authority, Council of Independent Business Owners (CIBO), the Asheville Planning and Zoning Commission, and the Asheville Buncombe Christian Community Mission. He has also served as Vice-Chairman of the Asheville Economic Development Commission. Winston is also a licensed real estate broker in both North Carolina and South Carolina.
